WHAT IS THE EAGLE RUN? 

The Eagle Run is a fun jog-a-thon style event, which serves as the primary fundraiser for the Washington Elementary PTA. 

WHAT IS THE GOAL?

The goal is to beat last year’s envelope pledge amount of $20,600.00

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

The money raised is used by the PTA to provide support for Washington Elementary School’s art programs, classroom supply reimbursements, student activity scholarships, tutoring funds, classroom technology needs, as well as fun community events like Bingo, Back to school Picnic and Super Kids Day. Last year we were able to use extra funds raised to order a Rock Wall for the gym!!

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?

Reach out to family, sports teams, or business owners to become a Washington Eagle Run sponsor! Donors will be supporting our fantastic school and receiving incredible advertising at the same time!

ARE THERE STUDENT AWARDS AND PRIZES? YES!!!

Class with most laps will earn a Custard Party!

Grade that raises the most money will earn a Pajama and Popsicle party!

Top girl and boy runner in each class will receive a Ribbon!

Top girl and boy runner in each grade will receive a Medal!

Top girl and boy in the whole School will receive a Trophy!

Every student that raises $200 will earn a special Field trip!

Raffle Tickets for prizes!! – DRAWING ON 11/4!!

Every participant will receive one raffle ticket

For Every $25 raised the student will receive an additional raffle ticket 

Student Names on T-Shirts!! 

A $100 corporate or family sponsor turned in before 9/20 and accompanied with a note denoting that they would like the student name rather than the company on the shirt will result in students name being printed on the shirts! 

IMPORTANT DATES:

Deadline:  September 20, 2019 for donors/students to be included on the t-shirt

Kick off assembly date: 10/7/19

Eagle Run Event: October 17, 2019 during class PE rotations

Envelope Money collection deadline: 10/24/19

Award ceremony date: 11/4/19
